EXCELLENT Based on 41 reviews Posted on Google Luke AllisterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot speak highly enough of this program and the people that run it. Professional, intimate and well structured program but also great people. Not only taught me a lot about addiction and how to treat it, but also learnt a lot about myself and took out some amazing life lessons. To Mick, Sheryl, Ox, Kate, Laura, Coop, Flick, Kath and Yap, thank you so much for everything, I can’t thank you enough. What an amazing group of people you all are. To anyone dealing with addiction or has a loved one that is struggling, pick up the phone and give MyHab a call. The previous times I left, I never followed my Aftercare Plan, and I drank within days of coming home, and my drinking got worse and worse. To the point I was completely and utterly broken when I arrived last. I was met with so much love...and no judgement whatsover. This time, I gave it my all. I got honest .....the parts of me I have never evet felt able to share. I was met with compassion, understanding and so much care. To say I felt fragile is an understatement, but the whole team.....Sheryl, Mick, Kate, Coop, Flick, Kath and Yap.....I can't thank you enough. If anyone reading this and it resonates, please give Myhab your best shot......they will give you theirs back tenfold.Posted on Google Ricky DavenportTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, professionalism, and support provided by the team at this rehabilitation centre. From the moment clients walk through the doors, they are treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine understanding. The staff demonstrate exceptional knowledge in addiction recovery and mental health support, creating a safe and structured environment where real healing can begin. The program encourages accountability, personal growth, and long-term recovery while also offering empathy and encouragement every step of the way. What truly stands out is the dedication of the team. They go above and beyond to support not only the individual in treatment, but also their families throughout the recovery journey. The atmosphere is welcoming, respectful, and focused on helping people rebuild their lives with confidence and hope. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone seeking support for drug, alcohol, or gambling addiction. The positive impact they have on people’s lives is remarkable.Posted on Google Michael DiserioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Going to rehab for the first time can be a scary, confusing, and confronting experience for many people, and for me it was all of those things and then some. Thankfully, there are clinics like MyHab that help to take the edge off those emotions, that was certainly my experience when I first visited with my mother for a consultation. Laura, the head of onboarding, goes above and beyond what many would consider necessary, making herself personally available to those considering a stay. She handles every situation with a measured approach and the perfect balance of enthusiasm for your recovery and professionalism for the work that takes place. During my 28-day live-in program, the sessions run by founders Mick and Sheryl, along with Kate, Ox, and a number of other caring and friendly support staff, helped me understand addiction at a fundamental level. They were compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated to my recovery throughout. Many of the staff are recovered addicts themselves, so when they speak and give advice it comes from lived experience, something I found invaluable during my time there. The team took the time to understand my individual needs and built a program that felt genuinely personalised rather than one-size-fits-all. The facilities are modern and well-equipped, and even when rooms were fully booked, privacy never felt compromised. The clinic’s policies also felt progressive and thoughtfully considered, they were never a hindrance, only ever working in your favour. The overall environment was calm, safe, and encouraging, which made it so much easier to open up and do the real work. Thank you to everyone there for helping me rediscover myself and providing the tools to get back in touch with the world around me. ❤️Posted on Google Adam DavisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was late on a Sunday afternoon that my partner sat in that all too familiar waiting room at 'The Alfred' as I lay in the hospital bed having relapsed once more and not knowing where to turn. Relapse and addiction have no respect for Mon to Fri & during business hours. As she looked through the Google Reviews, one struck a chord. She made that phone call & much to her surprise the call was answered. It was a call that has changed my life, recently recognising my 2 years clean and sober, Sheryl and the team at MyHab have become very much family to me and I will be forever thankful to them showing me the NA 12 Step way of living life.Posted on Google NickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Couldn’t recommend MyHab more to anyone. I had been struggling with a gambling addiction since I was a teenager. Gambling consumed my life and made mine and my family’s life miserable. I didn’t know myself. I tried everything to stop gambling but nothing worked. I am so grateful I found MyHab. With the help of Sheryl, Ox, Mick, Coop, Kath, Yap and all the staff, I learnt so much about addiction, myself and how to deal with my feelings in a healthy way. I still go back there regularly and over 12 months since my last bet. So grateful!Posted on Google Recovered alcoholicTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This program changed my life. It not only helped me overcome my alcoholism and addiction it showed me how to live my life again, to get back what I had lost. It is truly a special place. It is unlike any rehabilitation facility I had ever heard of, one that I didn’t realise existed. MyHab is not a jail or hospital where you are locked out from society, visits to exercise facilities and group and counselling meetings are daily activities. Group activities like barbecues, swimming pool visits, ten pin bowling, movie nights, group dinners are all regular events depending on what the current patients choose they would like to do. The apartments are great, letting you feel comfortable and that you are living a normal life, you cook your own meals, have your own bathroom/toilet, it’s not just a padded cell. The transformation of myself and other patients I saw in a short period of time was remarkable. The staff are amazing, caring, knowledgeable, understanding, relatable and professional. These guys don’t just run you through a program then kick you out the door, they are committed to helping you 24/7, providing care for you in every way, constant care from the moment you walk in and will be a constant support for you in your next phase of life. Brilliant. I now have a bunch of new friends I can lean on with any struggles I might face. The support they gave my family through this period was just amazing. Gave them the confidence they needed. 100 stars from me. I will be forever grateful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Posted on Google Jonathan RalphTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Many thanks to Sheryl, Mick, Ox & the team! 12 months ago I was very much in a dark place and in need of some help of an addiction I’d been dealing with for close to 20 years! 1 year clean just gone and I know without their help I would be in an even worse position! Again thanks to the team!Posted on Google Mark HaddenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ***UPDATE*** I AM NOW TWO YEARS CLEAN AND SOBER AND IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF MYHAB! Please read my original review below and know that if I can do it, you can too… 2 YEARS CLEAN 🥳🙌 ******************************** I went into MyHab with a 20 year addiction to almost every drug out there, including alcohol. In the end it was my addiction to ice and GHB that lead me to rehab. I am a gay man who for almost my entire adult life have always been addicted to something (alcohol, cocaine, pills, ice, GHB, you name it!). I was so low and broken in the end that I honestly thought I was trapped forever in a cycle of addiction. I was using ice daily to be productive and then GHB to try and bring down my anxious high. At first it was recreational but soon became a daily habit, where I was using a gram every second day. I felt like I had no soul towards the end, I had no idea who I was and not even the drugs were making me happy. I used to go down rabbit holes on Reddit trying to work out which rehab or drug treatment was the best for me (ironically, while I was high on ice). Initially I tried another drug rehab program that cost me a fortune and did absolutely nothing. It was an outpatient program and most of the days I just got high and faked my way through it. I dropped out and just went back to the drugs harder. I had seen MyHab come up a few times on my late night searches and sent an inquiry. A MyHab worker by the name of Sheryl responded and gave me a call. She made me feel calm and asked me to pop in for a hello to have a chat. From the moment I went in, I just knew it was the right place. Sheryl wasn’t pushy, she spoke to me from a position of authority and authenticity. I left that day thinking, ok maybe this might be the place. I then went home and got high! A week or so later I went on a massive bender and my partner basically said to me that I enter rehab that day or move out all together. I nervously rang Sheryl who moved things around for me to come in later that day. When I arrived I was so nervous and scared (I was also high) but again, I was welcomed with open arms. My first night was a rough one but they let me detox and then I joined in with the others. Each day starts with boxing (which I dreaded at first but loved by the end), then morning circle and classes where you learn about your addiction, triggers and all the other things I had no idea about. Mick is the lead guy that delivers the sessions and he speaks from the highest position of authority possible having dealt with his own addiction to drugs, and then some 20+ years in recovery teaching everything he knows to help other addicts. When he speaks, everyone listens because he knows what he is taking about. Every night we attended either a narcotics, gambling or alcoholics anonymous meeting to add to the program we received during the day. Gambling has never been an issue for me but there is something so powerful that happens when you listen to someone talk about their addiction, what lead them there and how they are coping abstaining. Very often you’ll hear someone speak and you’ll be thinking, that’s my story you’re telling right there, that’s what I went through! I spent 28 days in MyHab and each day I became stronger both physically and mentally. I am now over 6 months clean (the longest ever in my life). I have my life back, my spirit back and I truly believe I am capable of anything. I owe it all to MyHab and although writing reviews is not my thing, I want to hopefully impact anyone reading this and having any doubts. Do it, go to rehab and get your life back! Reviews are just opinions so give them a call or send an inquiry and just go down and see for yourself. You’ll know if it’s right for you after checking it out. I will forever be indebted to Sheryl, Mick, Drew, Kathie, Karl and anyone else I may have forgot to mention. I have my life and spirit back and it’s because of you guys and everything you taught me!Posted on Google bentyonerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Myhab saved my life there is no question about it, from learning all the tools to be able to deal with life on life’s terms, and the staff are absolutely incredible, they genuinely care your well-being the whole time and after you leave, forever grateful for this place!
